Research Infrastructure

As a member of the University of Maribor, the Faculty of Logistics follows both the principles of open science and the principles of FAIR. Scientific research is based on the principles of open science, which includes open access to research results, evaluation of quality and impact on scientific research using responsible metrics, and connecting and involving the interested public in the research process. It covers all scientific disciplines and aspects of scientific practice and builds on the following key stages: open scientific behavior (publications, data, education, open source software and source code), open scientific infrastructure, open involvement of social stakeholders and open dialogue with other knowledge systems. According to the definition of the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI), research infrastructures (RIs) are facilities, assets or services that comprise major equipment or a set of instruments and represent or complement knowledge sources such as databases, archives and databases. In accordance with the defined concept of open sciences, the Internal Policy of Open Access to Research Infrastructure of the Faculty of Logistics is also being prepared, which will show potential users that we have greater values.
