Brief summary of the project:

Traffic accidents cause direct and indirect costs that are difficult to determine, but they have a significant impact on the country’s gross domestic product. The European Commission focuses on road safety and regularly adopts action programs to reduce the number of deaths on EU roads, and also encourages member states to implement rehabilitation programs and raise awareness of traffic risks. Driver rehabilitation programs focus on changing personal attitudes and beliefs about driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs and risky driving.
