Brief description of the content:
Students will collaborate with a company that has been working in the field of cybersecurity and the use of artificial intelligence in business environments for several years. The project will focus on studying the possibilities of using artificial intelligence to support logistics processes. The goal is to determine the feasibility and useful value of implementing artificial intelligence for selected processes or activities in order to improve their efficiency. The project challenge includes an analysis of the existing state of the selected logistics process and the creation of a process snapshot based on a process approach. On this basis, students will formulate proposals for optimizing the process, taking into account the possibilities for including artificial intelligence models where appropriate. As part of the assignment, they will develop a prototype solution. The prototype represents the basis for further upgrading or actual automation of the process, which goes beyond the scope of the student project. For the purposes of the analysis, they will compare the current implementation of the process with the optimized version, highlighting the key differences and advantages brought by the use of artificial intelligence. In this way, students will gain valuable insight into the operation of a real company from a local/regional environment, while at the same time having the opportunity to use and upgrade their knowledge in the field of business digitalization and artificial intelligence in solving a concrete practical challenge.
