Brief description of content:

In this dynamic project, students will learn the organization and implementation of professional innovation hackathons. Students will have the opportunity to experience first-hand all aspects of the organization of a major event – from planning, promotion to execution. The event will be an opportunity to network, collaborate and learn among peers and gain invaluable experience that will serve as an excellent foundation for the participants’ further academic and professional careers. Green event literature review: We will review existing research and guidelines for sustainable event organization to identify best practices. With this, we will determine the key criteria that an event must meet in order to be considered green. Event planning and organization: We will plan an event that incorporates environmentally friendly practices, from location selection to waste management. We will organize the event in accordance with sustainable goals and involve relevant partners. Project implementation: We will realize the planned event and ensure that it takes place in accordance with environmental protection guidelines. We will monitor performance in achieving sustainability goals and resolve potential issues on the fly.
