European Master’s Degree in Intelligent, Sustainable and Human-Centric Logistics Systems
The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and its growing integration into business management have created a need for highly skilled professionals who can harness AI technologies to promote sustainable, resilient and innovative business practices. Recent reports by the European Commission and the OECD point to a 40% skills gap in the workforce, particularly in roles requiring a combination of AI and business management expertise. This gap is especially pronounced in strategic areas such as the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles, digital transformation and organisational resilience.
In response to these needs, five universities—the Poznan University of Technology (Poland), the University of Lille (France), the Polytechnic University of Bari (Italy), the Karazin Business School of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine) and Bahçeşehir University (Türkiye)—have joined forces to develop the innovative Erasmus Mundus programme, the European Master of Business Administration and Artificial Intelligence.
The programme is designed to address these skills gaps and prepare future leaders with the knowledge and tools to respond effectively to today’s challenges. This partnership aims to tackle the growing shortage of expertise at the intersection of artificial intelligence and business management, particularly in the context of digital transformation, global challenges such as climate change, and a changing economic landscape.
