Brief summary of the project:
Road safety is a serious social problem, as many people die on the roads every year, and many suffer serious injuries and become disabled. Traffic accidents cause direct and indirect costs that are difficult to determine, but they have a significant impact on the country’s gross domestic product. The European Commission focuses on road safety and regularly adopts action programs to reduce the number of fatalities on EU roads, and also encourages member states to implement a system of accompanied driving and awareness of traffic risks. The program of accompanying driving focuses on gaining additional experience future category B drivers.
