About the 3D-CIRCULAR Project
3D-CIRCULAR is an innovative EU-funded project that brings together 33 leading organizations from 14 European countries to accelerate the EU’s twin green and digital transition. The project combines deep-tech innovations with circular economy principles and aims to reskill and upskill the European workforce through advanced master’s and doctoral programs.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher // PhD candidate to join the 3D-CIRCULAR project. The candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of circular economy, with a focus on innovative solutions that merge deep-tech approaches and sustainability. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary, and international environment and collaborate with leading experts from academia and industry.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct doctoral research in the field of circular economy.

Collaborate with project partners in developing innovative solutions for sustainable growth.

Contribute to the design and implementation of next-generation educational programs.

Contribute to scientific publications, reports, and dissemination activities to promote project results.

Engage in international collaboration and knowledge exchange within the consortium.
Requirements

Education: Completed Master’s degree or equivalent university diploma (eligible for PhD enrollment) in technical or natural sciences (e.g., engineering, environmental sciences, materials science, or related fields).

Academic performance: Minimum average grade of 8.5/10 (or equivalent) in previous studies.

Skills:

Good knowledge of circular economy principles.

Interest in deep-tech innovations and sustainability.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage.
