Orientation Day 2026

Dear students,

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Logistics at the University of Maribor!

Although we will begin this academic year online, we are committed to ensuring that you receive the best possible study experience. To help you get started on the right foot, we invite you to join us for our Orientation Day. This will ensure you are well prepared for your journey at our Faculty.

We will meet online on Monday, October 12, at 12:00 AM (CET). You can join us by clicking on the following link: https://url.um.si/Sj7q8.

By now, you should have received information about your digital identity, which grants access to all university services via single sign-on using the same username and password. Please ensure that you activate your digital identity, as all official communication will be conducted via university emails.

Additionally, we recommend installing Microsoft Teams, as both the Orientation Day and your online courses will be held on this platform. Detailed installation instructions are available in your enrolment materials.

The Orientation Day will begin with a welcome address by assoc. prof. dr. Marjan Sternad, Vice-dean for Academic Affairs. You will also receive all the essential information that will help you start your studies successfully – from study guidelines and online tools, to library services, written assignments, and tips for academic success.

We look forward to meeting you and supporting your successful start at the Faculty of Logistics!

Warm regards,
The Faculty of Logistics, University of Maribor
